what is check

This check looks at the things a potential customer would see when they search for you, visit your website, or look you up on Google.

It is not a full audit. It gives you a useful starting point.

what does check cover?

Five areas, each looked at separately.

trust:

How credible your business looks to someone who finds you for the first time. This includes your Google reviews and star rating, how professional your website looks, whether your contact details are consistent across your listings, and basic technical signals that affect how trustworthy your site appears.

local visibility:

How easy it is to find you in local searches. Whether your Google Maps listing is complete, where you appear in local results for the searches your customers are making, and how many similar businesses you are competing with for the same searches.

brand coherence:

How consistently your business presents itself online. Whether your name is the same across your website and Google, how well your page title and description represent what you do, and whether your social media presence ties back to your site.

conversion:

How easy it is for someone to contact you once they have found you. Whether your phone number is easy to find and tap, whether there is a clear way to email or send a message, and whether practical information like opening hours is available.

technical health:

The behind-the-scenes setup of your site. Whether it loads quickly on mobile, whether analytics are in place so you can understand what is working, and the technical signals that affect how search engines read and rank your site.
